TESL

TESL Diploma Course for Non-Native Speakers.  By applying to this course, you have made a commitment, not only to yourself and your professional life, but also to YOUR future students.  This course has been designed to give you thorough instruction and practical in-class experience in a relaxed, professional and encouraging environment.  You will spend your mornings gaining hands-on knowledge in the realms of the ESL classroom. Your projects and assignments will help you understand the importance of diligence and duty in the teaching field.

In the afternoons, you will explore the world of English - from a teacher's point of view. You will learn how to create standard lessons for all skills and levels. You will also have the opportunity to relate to English itself, with classes and lectures concerning methodology, classroom management, resources, cultural influences, etc.  Classroom observations throughout each week will allow you to take a behind-the-scenes look at different English lessons and allow you to develop your own teaching style by watching other qualified instructors.

In addition to observation time, you will also be placed in the role of 'teacher" during your teaching practice hours. There is no better way to learn how to teach than to be given a chance to do so, especially with the help of experienced professionals with whom you will be teamed up with time and again.
