REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Students must complete the
Registration Form, which should be received by the school at least three weeks prior to the start of the session.Registration is on a first come first serving basis.Students will be invoiced upon receipt of the registration information. A deposit is required. Payment may be made in U.S. or Canadian funds only, by money order, wire transfer or VISA.Full payment must be made on or before the first day of classes. The student will be suspended if payment is not made within seven days.
Letters of Acceptance
Letters of Acceptance will be provided to students on receipt of the deposit. Letters will be sent by first class mail or faxed if requested. Letters sent by courier will be charged to the student.
Students requiring a visa are encouraged to prepay their tuition, as proof of payment will facilitate the visa application.
VISA INFORMATION
Student Visa
A visa is required by all students who wish to study for longer than six months in Canada. Students must apply for a Student Authorization at a Canadian Embassy or Consulate before that leave for Canada. This process may take up to three months, so plan ahead!
To apply for a Student Visa, you will need:

1. A Current passport.
2. An Official Letter of Acceptance from Yorkville English Academy.
3. Proof of sufficient funds for living.
4. In some countries, a medical examination is required.
Visitor's Visa
When international visitors arrive at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, their passports are given a Port of Entry's stamp, which shows the date of their arrival. It is called a "Visitor's Visa" and it is valid for six months.
Working Holiday Visa
Application for Working Holiday Visas can be made at Canadian Embassies in countries that participate in the Working Holiday Visa Program. Students in the program are eligible to study full time or part time at Yorkville English Academy for up to three months Student Visa ExtensionsStaff at Yorkville English Academy can help students with the necessary applications for Visa Extensions if the student is still a student at YEA.
